Did you know that the Old Testament in the Bible contains 120 prophecies of the first coming of Christ?  Each and every one of the 120 prophecies were fulfilled.  Read Isaiah 7:14 and then Matthew 1:23 concerning the virgin birth of Jesus.  Jesus was rejected by His own; a prophecy contained in Isaiah 53:3 and fulfilled in John 1:11.   His death on the Cross was for-told in Zechariah 12:10 and fulfilled in Matthew 27:23.  The chances of all of the prophecies being fulfilled in one Man’s life is one chance in 84 followed by 131 zeroes.

Did you know there are 300 prophecies in God’s Word for the second coming of Jesus?  Because the prophecies of the first coming of Jesus were true,  we can be assured that the prophecies in the Bible of the return of Jesus Christ for the second time are true and will happen.  Our faith in His return is not based on fairy tales and misplaced hope, but rather on past prophecies being literally fulfilled.   The Bible tells us that His return will come “like a thief in the night”.  His return is near.  Be ready. Give you life to Jesus by asking Him into your heart.  He loves you.
